Concrete counter tops work in the kitchen, bath, and more.

Here are a few examples of how Abilene Decorative Concrete has used concrete in bathrooms, kitchens, indoor and outside in the Big Country Region of Texas. We can build concrete counter tops for your kitchen, bathroom and more.

Selecting concrete over Granite?

The price for concrete falls in the mid-range of counter top options. Typically, concrete is more expensive than tile, synthetic solids or laminate, about the same price as engineered quartz or granite counter tops and less expensive than marble.

The price of a concrete counter top depends upon how many colors, edge selection, number of cut-outs, etc. A naturally colored, basic layout in concrete can be a quite affordable option. If you have looked at granite or quartz and just don’t like your options, you might find yourself drawn to concrete because you can decide on all of the features!

You could do this as a DIY project to save money, but it is a much more complex job than a typical DIY project. Pouring in place requires knowledge of the proper mix and how curing and finishing processes work. Let alone, the specialized tools and equipment you would have to buy. This is one project that is best left to the pros.
